Lobito Atlantic Railway participated in the Second Lobito Corridor Coordination Meeting
The Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) participated in the Second Lobito Corridor Coordination Meeting, held in Lusaka, Zambia, on 5 and 6 October 2026. The meeting brought together the Lobito Corridor Transit and Transport Facilitation Agency (LCTTFA), senior representatives and other stakeholders from Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia, with the support of the The World Bank Group.
During the event, Nicolas Gregoir, COO of LAR, took part in the discussion panels and presented an operational update on LAR after almost three years of activity. He highlighted the progress achieved, the continued growth in volumes transported and operational capacity, as well as the importance of solid collaboration throughout the entire logistics chain.
The discussions reflected a common commitment to developing an increasingly reliable, efficient and integrated Lobito Corridor, capable of supporting the growth of regional and international trade.
For LAR, continued collaboration among all stakeholders remains essential to unlocking the full potential of the corridor and promoting more efficient cross-border operations and trade.
A future that is built together.
