Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) has marked the arrival of the first cobalt shipment at the Port of Lobito, reinforcing the role of the Lobito Corridor railway as a strategic route for the export of critical minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This milestone reflects the growing role in supporting regional trade flows and enabling the export of critical minerals and metals from the Democratic Republic of Congo to global markets.

The operation was coordinated through the Dango Multimodal Platform, ensuring continuity and efficiency across the corridor.
