Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) has been distinguished with the Regional Development and Inland Promotion Award, as part of the AIPEX Angola Awards 2026, at a ceremony held in Luanda, which was attended by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguêns de Oliveira.

This recognition highlights LAR's contribution to the sustainable development of Angola and reflects the commitment of its teams—comprised mostly of Angolan professionals—to territorial development, regional connectivity, and economic growth.
