Lobito Atlantic Railway records its best month for international cargo

Lobito Atlantic Railway moved around 27,000 tonnes of international cargo in July 2026, the highest monthly volume in its history. The company expects to reach around 400,000 tonnes by the end of 2026 and aims to double that volume in 2027, supported by new wagons and containers, the rehabilitation of the line and closer operational coordination between Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
