Lobito Atlantic Railway supported the launch of the innovative project "Tata Uhayele – Take Care of Your Health”

The Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) supported the launch of the innovative project “Tata Uhayele – Take Care of Your Health,” led by the Ngana Zenza Foundation for Community Development (FDC), with the honorary sponsorship of the First Lady of Angola, Ana Dias Lourenço.

The project brings essential health services directly to underserved communities. At the first stop, at Caimbambo Station, an average of over one hundred patients were treated per day, receiving care in areas such as pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, nutrition, and vaccination, including referrals for specialized treatment whenever necessary.

The pilot phase demonstrates how partnerships between different actors can drive significant change and contribute to strengthening communities. In collaboration with the FDC, Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) remains committed to making healthcare more accessible and ensuring that no one is left behind.
